THE 2ND LIFE is a sci-fi/thriller screenplay about a homicide detective's investigation of a small-town murder,
in which the victim's recorded dreams lead to the dark and twisted truth.

Written by Grace Rowe, The 2nd Life advanced to the semi-final round of the 2018 Sundance Screenwriter's Lab. 
The story challenges stereotypes of both men and women, while shedding light on sexual abuse and familial betrayal.  The story, both bizarre and haunting, has the dark and twisted sensibility of the Korean film, OLD BOY, with detective elements similar to THE GIRL WITH THE DRAGON TATTOO.
